The faster the better. Samples degrade over time. We suggest mailing back the same day or the following.
We recommend mailing your smaple out on Monday or Thursday. The lab is closed over the weekend.
If you are mailing a CBC test back to us – it’s critical that you send it as instructed.
Your sample (not the CBC) will stay good for up to 30 days at temperatures of 70-79 degrees fahrenheit. If you have something come up and you can’t mail it within a couple days – you can place it somewhere cool (like a fridge) to help preserve your sample.
Glucose is the first to degrade if a sample does break down due to delays. If it breaks down it will be reported as a TNP (test not performed).
