Why Did I Get an Error?
Updated over a week ago

An out-of-range result indicates that a particular biomarker's value is either higher or lower than the reporting range of our lab equipment. This range is determined by the equipment's sensitivity and calibration, and it is essential to provide accurate results. An out-of-range result does not necessarily mean there was an issue with how you collected your sample.

What Should I Do Next?

If you receive an error or out-of-range result on your report, we recommend the following steps:

  1. Consult with your healthcare provider: Discuss the result with a medical professional who can interpret the information and advise on any necessary follow-up tests or treatment plans.

  2. Consider retesting in 3 months: In some cases, retaking the test after a period of time may provide more accurate results, especially if the initial error was due to a temporary or external factor. Waiting for a few months can also allow for any potential changes in your biomarker levels to manifest.
